SWEETTTT!!! FREE WIFI in Times Square?!?!?!!? As any avid lover of NYC would know, this past September, NY officials closed traffic on seven blocks right in the heart of Times and Herald Square. The temporary project, inspired by Copenhagen’s car-free Strøget zone, was originially supposed to help with congestion southbound on 7th Avenue, and has now become permanent! Now, rather than a sea of yellow cabs, Broadway has turned into a cultural mesh of locals and tourists relaxing and chillin' in the heart of their beloved city.
Yes, I was one of those nomads who would just chill in Times Sqaure on the highrise for HOURS. I love people watching, and this was the BEST place to do it!
Earlier this week, Yahoo announced that they have teamed up with the Times Square Alliance and is offering free WiFi to all the Crackberry and MACees. Internet browsing can accessed through mobile phone or laptop, just connect to "TIMES SQUARE FREE WIFI" to surf away dudes!
This is so exciting!! Just wait, this spring, if I go MIA, you will probably find me surfing the web on my laptop in Times Square on some site I'm addicted to like, Frugal Fashionistas.
For all you motherlovers who haven't been to NYC before (yes, I'm talking about my Virginians, make a trip up here already!)
